Ladislaus the Magnanimous (Italian: Ladislao, Hungarian: László; 15 February 1377 – 6 August 1414) was King of Naples from 1386 until his death and an unsuccessful claimant to the kingdoms of Hungary and Croatia. Ladislaus was a skilled political and military leader, protector and controller of Pope Innocent VII; however, he earned a bad reputation concerning his personal life. He profited from disorder throughout Italy to greatly expand his kingdom and his power, appropriating much of the Papal States to his own use. He was the last male of the Capetian House of Anjou.

Mary of Lusignan, Queen of Naples

Mary of Lusignan (1381 - 4 September 1404) was a Queen consort of Naples, married to King Ladislaus of Naples.

She was born in Genoa. Mary was a daughter of James I of Cyprus and his Queen consort Helvis of Brunswick-Grubenhagen.

On 12 February 1403, Mary married Ladislaus of Naples. He had divorced his previous wife, Constance of Clermont, in 1392 while struggling for the throne against Louis II of Naples. He had no legitimate heirs of his own.

Mary died childless in Naples the following year. Ladislaus went on to marry Mary of Enghien.

Maria d'Enghien o d'Engenio (1367 – Lecce, 9 maggio 1446) è stata una sovrana italiana.

Fu contessa di Lecce dal 1384 alla morte, in quanto ereditiera dei possedimenti del fratello Pietro, morto privo di eredi. Si sposò in prime nozze con Raimondo Orsini del Balzo e fu principessa consorte di Taranto dal 1399, e in seconde nozze con il re Ladislao d'Angiò-Durazzo, divenendo la sua terza ed ultima moglie e fu quindi regina consorte di Napoli dal 1407 al 1414, anno di morte del marito. Come moglie del re Ladislao I, oltre ad essere stata regina consorte di Napoli, fu regina titolare consorte di Gerusalemme, di Sicilia e d'Ungheria, e contessa titolare consorte di Provenza e di Forcalquier.
